Greenville’s Sixth Annual Textile Heritage Festival will be held October 6-14, 2012 at The Upcountry History Museum on Buncombe Street.

The first annual festival was held for one day in the gymnasium at Dunean Baptist Church with eight displays and performances by The Greenville Textile Heritage Band and Kay Crowe.

In 2008 The Upcountry History Museum offered their facility for the second annual festival.

Due to popular demand the third annual festival in 2009 was expanded to two days and increased to thirty-one exhibits, with a variety of musical entertainment in the museum’s lobby, and a number of educational presentations in the museum auditorium.

2012 will mark the Sixth Annual Golf Tournament held during Textile Heritage Week at Summersett Golf Club. Reservations are now being accepted. Hole sponsorships are still available for this year’s tournament. Contact Tournament Coordinator Bob Duke at 864 230-6596 for information.

Spiritual Emphasis Day is the finale to activities of Greenville’s Textile Heritage Week and is hosted by Emmanuel Baptist Church.
